Conscious management: the key to positive and inspiring management

Alumni workshop (via video-conference)

KEDGE BS Alumni now offers a new workshop on "Conscience management".

Option: You can also take advantage of 1 or 2 hours of individual and personalised coaching with our coach following the workshop.

Objectives:

Use the resilience of meditation to improve your management practices.

  • Practise meditation to gain serenity and develop your cognitive and emotional skills.
  • Integrate mindfulness into your management practices.
  • Evolve into a positive and inspiring leader for your teams.

Why meditate?

Google’s example of meditation in the workplace has been emulated, and the "Search Inside Yourself" programme is constantly being deployed in organisations. Many people are looking for fulfilment and balance in their lives. The search for meaning is at the heart of these concerns. Companies are no exception to this reality - the arrival of the younger generation is shaking up preconceived ideas, and the world is accelerating and it is always being called into question.

This introductory programme has been designed to make participants aware of new managerial practices. Mindfulness has become the common theme of a management style that promotes the growth of individuals and teams and their performance. It is being used in management schools, such as the one in Grenoble, and has been the subject of presentations at events such as "Les entrepreneurs d'avenir" (The Entrepreneurs of the Future) in Bordeaux, "Université du Bonheur au travail" (Happiness at Work University) at the Spinoza factory, and "New Power, New Leaders, in Nantes, amongst others.

Prerequisites:

None.

Detailed programme:

  • Become aware of the mechanisms and benefits of meditation. (Reduction of stress, emotional regulation, improvement of concentration and memory skills, etc.).
  • Learn how to meditate and introduce it into your daily life. (Meditation exercises centred on body sensations, posture, and breathing.)
  • Adopt positive leadership and how to improve your performance by acting on the well-being of others. Understand the connection between well-being and performance and discover the mechanisms underlying positive leadership.
  • Use your character strengths to reach your goals.
